You talk with Jim Whiteley, the Registrar and de facto Collections Manager, <jim.w@discovermgp.org>.
The main collection at the Museum of the Great Plains (separate from archaeology or the library and archives) contains a wide range of objects, from rodeo saddles to a drive-in movie projector, hair-wreath bereavements, or the mid-20th century works of modern artist Leslie Powell. The museum has more than 30,000 three-dimensional artifacts, which include most of the objects stored or exhibited across the complex. Researchers are welcome by appointment.
