Whose eye, you ask? Just a visitor to the museum. Part of a group that will be here when we reopen on November 18. Right now they're setting up camp. I think they mean to stay for awhile. Until April 2016 or so. Feel free to stop by and visit, if you dare.
See, people and dinosaurs can really get along if they just try. Only four workers have been eaten so far.
All this and so much more! Dinosaur skulls, a dino-dig, an eggs-ploration activity.... Did we mention the dinosaurs interact with visitors? They're not here just to look pretty. Although they'll probably think you look pretty tasty. Nevermind, ignore that. Really, there's no reason to be nervous. Those teeth? They're for eating broccoli.
During the Science Museum of Minnesota's first installation trip, back in July, they took this time lapse video. It shows the first two weeks of construction of the tornado theater. SMM recently completed an edit and sent us a copy. Have a look. Then, if you want to build your own tornado theater, you'll know just how. (Watch out, SMM, you're about to have competition!)
From time to time, we'll post info here about what's going-on at the museum.
