School Group Visit Form

To qualify for the $5 per person school rate, groups must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 students (age 5 or older)

  • Maximum of 50 students

  • At least 1 teacher/adult chaperone per 10 students

Payment is not due until arrival and can be made by check, cash, credit card, or purchase order. (Purchase orders must include a physical copy brought with the group.) Museum memberships are not valid for admission with school field trips.


Bus parking is available anywhere in the Museum of the Great Plains/McMahon Auditorium parking lot (except for the fire lanes marked with the spray-painted curb). When you arrive at the museum, please have students and chaperones wait in the vehicles while you (the contact person) pay for admission at the front desk. After payment, we will accompany the group to our map room to go over the rules before you begin the self-tour. Education staff will be present in the gallery if assistance is needed. When you are getting ready to leave, please have your students and chaperones gather in this map room instead of in the lobby.


We have a limit of five students at a time in the gift shop.
