Need a place to host an event? Louise D McMahon Hall at the Museum of the Great Plains seats up to 100 people. We provide tables, chairs, and an integrated audio-visual system. There's a convenient serving kitchen attached.

Please note: At this time, the museum is no longer offering rentals. We're preparing for major building repairs that will effect all our public areas. We expect to resume full operation in April 2028.

The main building of the museum will close to the public after August 15, 2026, for extensive maintenance and repairs. The projected completion date is early 2028. Until then, the outdoor areas of the museum will remain open to the public, free of charge.
