Friends

Q:  Who are the Friends of the Museum of the Great Plains (FMGP)?

A:  A group of volunteers that supports the mission and activities of the museum.

The Friends do things like:

• Help during museum events

• Help with museum public programs

• Help with museum education programs

• Help in the museum Archives & Collections

• Help in the museum Store

• Help with museum advocacy, promotion, & fundraising

 

Basically, the Friends help do everything the museum does, but they don’t get paid—which really, really helps the museum.
